Introduction :
Scholarship are intended to reward a students’ academic achievement and educational progression. Whether you are starting your career of student are studying in high school to degree and grow new abilities and receiving a scholarship is a huge achievement in their student life. The degree level student are getting the scholarship for their career achievement with the help of scholarships.
Scholarship can open the way to various educational opportunities in their life, the scholarships are getting economically Weaker Section of students.
The Scholarship schemes are going on two way 1) Central Government 2) State Government and remaining are some NGO’s societies are providing the scholarship for the student in various regions of state.
1) Central Government Schemes:
The central government provided the scholarship schemes for SC and ST students for helping their career development (Education) specially government is provided to SC and ST students for achievement and educational progress. The main aim is do not miss the education facilities in weaker section of society. The government is taking the care with the help of scholarship scheme.
2) State government scholarship :
The state government also provided the scholarship with scheme for V.J. NT, NT, OBC, SBC, EBC and other organized NGO’s are facilitates the scholarship facility to states students. The scheme is given the student for their higher education which are belong to above categories. There are no any restrictions for applying the scheme. This scheme is provide to encourage the students for their higher education that is the main aim of the scheme.
Objectives of Scheme :
1. Scholarship helps students pay for education fee by providing financial assistance.
2. Scholarships help to students for poor and middle class for their paying the monthly expenses.
3. Scholarship help to student for purchasing the essential needs that are Books, notebooks, instruments that are essential for their study.
4. To provide opportunities to financially weak sections minorities students for their further education.
5. They will be able to fulfill their dream by pursuing personal courses.
Different types of Scholarships:
There are Several types of scholarships are provided to student for their educational purpose. Some organized societies can provided the scholarship schemes in various types. Those schemes are also provided the financial assistant to educational students which student are come under particular schemes, the organizing societies or institution or NGO’s giving the scholarship for students.
1. Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Scholarship.
2. Savitribai Phule Scholarship.
3. Vidhyadham Scholarship scheme.
4. Mahatma Phule Scholarship scheme.
5. E.B.C. Scheme.
6. Research scheme.
Above all the scholarship schemes are provided the financial assistance to degree level students for their higher education. These schemes help to the Weaker section students to achieve their education opportunities. Under the scheme lot of students are taken the benefit in their life and they are living in the society as a successful persons.
1. Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Scholarship scheme. Scheme EBC for higher education.
The objective of the Scheme is to provide financial assistance to the Economic Backward Class who are admitted to Diploma / Degree / Postgraduate Professional courses through Centralized Admission Process (CAP).
Eligibility
(As per the GR Dated 07th Oct 2017,01st March 2018, 31st March 2018, 11.07.2019)
a) Applicant should have Nationality of India.
b) Candidate should be Domicile of Maharashtra State.
c) Applicant should be ”Bonafide Student of Institute” and admitted for Professional and Technical course (Diploma / Graduation / Post Graduation Degree) as mentioned in GR
d) Deemed University and Private university is not applicable
e) Candidate should be admitted through Centralized Admission Process (CAP).
f) Applicant should not avail any other scholarship/stipend.
g) For current Academic Year, Only 2 child from family are allowed for benefit of scheme.
h) The Total Annual Income of Family / Guardian should not be more than 8 Lakhs.
i) Minimum 50 % attendance in previous semester (Exception for fresh admitted in College).
j) During course duration, candidate should not have a gap of 2 or more than 2 years.
k) Candidates are eligible those who have taken an admission under General category and SEBC Category.
Benefits
50 % of Tuition Fees and 50 % of Exam Fee.

a) Mark sheet of 10th (S.S.C) & Onwards.
b) Domicile Certificate of Maharashtra State.
c) Family Annual Income certificate
d) Undertaking “In current year, not more than 2 beneficiary from family”.
e) CAP Related document.
f) Proof of Biometric attendance (Interface UIDAI).
2. Savitribai Phule Scholarship scheme.
Savitribai Phule Scheme is a very special scholarship there is provided to the Girls students who those are currently residing in Maharashtra State and studied in higher education like their degree level and university level. This scheme is specially available for the girl child belonging to backward communities in Maharashtra State.
3. Vidhya Dham Scholarship scheme. (Education Scheme)
The scheme is operated since 2008, onwards and its main object is to provide the financial assistance to the merit students and having family income of less than 4.5 lakh rupees per annum. Those students are getting benefits scheme. This scheme also assists the student for their higher education to meet their day to day expenses in the age group of 18 to 25 years.
4. Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Scholarship scheme.
This scheme is also providing financial assistance to students for their higher education. There is not any type of barriers for applying the scheme; there is some criteria that is the percentage. Those who are above minimum percentage students are getting the financial assistance; those who have higher percentage are able to get benefits under this scheme. The scheme also provides financial assistance to their higher education that is the main aim of scheme. This scheme fully depends upon the merits of students.
5. Economically Backward Classes (EBC).
The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to the economically (weaker) Backward classes students. The students going for higher study at degree level enjoy the benefits of this scholarship.
Those people whose annual income of the family is less than INR 800000/- come under subcategories of EBC individual SC, ST, OBC.
6. Research Scholarship scheme.
This scheme provides the financial assistance to graduate students for completing the Research work in their special fields. which are mines project Research Scholarships is provided stipend as well as fee and for expenses money giving to scholars.
Under this scheme domestic and international students are benefited and schemes are sectioned on the basis of academic merit. The eligible applicants are getting the benefits according their merits. The eligible students are completed the research work under the scheme.
