Shankarnagar is economically and educationally backward area of Nanded District.  Keeping in mind the need of nearby rural locality, Godavari Manar Charitable Trust established Shri. Madhukarrao Bapurao Patil Khatgaonkar College to provide value base and carrier oriented education to the poor and down trodden students of the Shankarnagar and nearby located rural area villages and make them cultured and responsible citizens of the country. The college is affiliated to Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded.  It has a very good large and well - equipped library and learning resource centre which is bringing about a remarkable educational change in the life of the students since last 32years.

         The college has a rich library with adequate number of books.The library provides spacious reading room facility for boys and girls separately with pleasant academic environment.Library provides OPAC facility to the library users through which they can easily search the books of their need or interest.

विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी ग्रंथालय नियमावली:-

 

• ग्रंथालयात प्रवेश करतांना विद्यार्थ्यांजवळ ओळखपत्र असणे अनिवार्य आहे. ओळखपत्रसोबत असल्याशिवाय विद्यार्थ्यांना ग्रंथालयातून पुस्तके तसेच नोडूज मिळणार नाही.

• एका विद्यार्थ्यास एकावेळी अभ्यासक्रमाची दोन पुस्तके सात दिवसांसाठी मिळतील.

• अभ्यासक्रमाची पुस्तके दर सात दिवसांनी बदलून/नुतनीकरण करून घ्यावीत, अन्यथा प्रत्येक पुस्तकास प्रतिदिन एक रुपया प्रमाणे दंड आकारण्यात येईल.

• रिडिंगरूम मधील पुस्तके घरी नेण्यास परवानगी नाही. रिडिंगरूमचे पुस्तक घरीनेल्यास प्रतिदिन१०/- रु. भरावा लागेल.

• ग्रंथालयातील  सेवाबद्दल  काही तक्रार  असेल  तर  ग्रंथपालयांना  लेखी  द्यावे. ग्रंथपाल  रजेवर असल्यास  सहाय्यक  ग्रंथपाल  यांच्याकडे  द्यावे.

• विद्यार्थ्यांनी पुस्तके घेतांना त्या पुस्तकाची पाने व स्तिथी पाहून घ्यावी फाटलेली पाने आढळून आल्यास ग्रंथपाल कर्मचाऱ्यांच्या निदर्शनास आणून द्यावे व त्यावर ग्रंथालयीन कर्मचाऱ्यांची सही  घ्यावी.

• पुस्तकावर  मजकूर  लिहणे, खाडाखोड  करणे  ही  बाब  दंडनीय  आहे. असे  आढळून आल्यास विद्यार्थ्यांचे  ग्रंथालय  सभासदत्व  रद्द  करण्यात  येईल.

• पुस्तक  गहाळ  झाल्यास  किंवा  खराब  झाल्यास  त्या  पुस्तकाची  प्रचलित  किंमत व दंड  भरावा लागेल.

• नोडूजच्या  वेळेस  सर्व  पुस्तके  विद्यार्थ्यांना  परत  करावी  लागतील. परीक्षेच्या  कालावधीत पुस्तके स्वतः  जवळ  ठेवायची  असतील  तर  ठरवून  दिलेली  अनामत  रक्कम  भरावी  लागेल. पुस्तके परत  केल्यानंतर  अनामत  रक्कम  परत  केली जाईल.

• अवांतर  वाचनाची  पुस्तके  हवी  असल्यास  फॉर्म  भरून  वाचन  कक्षात  द्यावा.

• अवांतर  वाचनाची  पुस्तके  सात  दिवसांत  परत  करणे  अनिवार्य  आहे.

• UGC-INFLIBNET च्या  N-LIST  उपक्रमांतर्गत  विविध  विषयाची  ७०००  पेक्षा अधिक  ई-जनरल व  ८००००  पेक्षा  अधिक  ई-बुक्स  उपलब्ध  आहेत. अधिक  माहिती  साठी  ग्रंथपालांना  भेटावे.

 

 

 

 

Rules and Regulations :-

 

• Library access is open for all stakeholders

• P.G. students can borrow 5 books at a time for 15 days.

• U.G. students can borrow 3 books and junior students 2 books at a time for 15 days.

• If students wish  to retain any book for more than the specified period, it may be reissued to him/her, if others do not need it.

• Students failing to return books in time will be charged Rs. 1/- per day per book as late fee.  Absence from the college on any ground will not be accepted as a reason for delay in returning books.

• If students lose a book, the book should be either replaced or he / she should pay the amount.

• Bound volumes of periodicals will not be issued in any case.  However they will be available for reference in Library.

• Reference Books / Reference Copy will not be issued.

• Journal / Periodical will not be issued.

• The library is under the surveillance of CCTV.

• Library membership is compulsory for availing library facilities.
