M.O.U. Activities during 2017-18 to 2019-20M.O.U.ACTIVITY

As a Laisen Officer of the Department of English of this college, Dr. Prafull D.Kulkarni initiated a novel Memorandum of Understanding (M.O.U.) with the department of English of A.C.S.College Shankarnagar of the region from 2016-17 onwards to boost up the English language acquisition skill and literary sensibilities of the students of this region. The Optional English students of the department derived immense benefits out of this academic, pedagogical, andsocio-literary interaction which resulted in an exchange of knowledge,sharing of research,and of mutual organization of literary and cultural events of the English department.

 Under this M.O.U. between the English Departments of the two colleges, the Optional English students and faculties of the English department of Sharadchandra College Naigaon Bz.participated in a Shakespearian Drama Show organized by the department of English, A.C.S. College Shankarnagar in Dec.2017.In this show,the renowned Shakespearean Play,“Othello”,was broadcast on the auditoriums creen.The post-show discussion and interaction of thestudents and the faculties of English amongst each other,enhanced the understanding of “drama as a form of literary media”. The programme was organised by the English Department of A.C.S. college Shankarnagar in their college auditorium to enhance the practical sensibilities of literature among thestudents.

1. Literary Film Show in Dept. of English, Sharadchandra CollegeNaigaonBz.

The Optional English students and faculties of the English department of A.C.S.College Shankarnagar participated in a Literary Film Show organized by thedepartment of English, Sharadchandra College Naigaon Bz. in Sept. 2018. Theprogramme was organised by the English Department of Sharadchandra CollegeNaigaonBz.intheircomputerlabtoenhancethepracticalsensibilitiesofliterature as an audio-visual medium among the literature students of both thesecolleges.
