College Shankarnagar, has ventured upon a new teaching-learning activity from the academic year 2021-22 to improve the students’<strong>speaking and writing </strong>skill in English. Thereby, the department is starting two <strong>online and self-paced </strong>courses for the students……..</p> <p> 01) Certificate Course in Spoken English</p> <p> 02) Certificate Course in Grammar & Writing</p> <p> </p> <p style="margin-left:23.0pt;"> ÞAdmissionstoboththesecoursesareopenthroughtheonlinelinkforthestudentsof</p> <p style="margin-left:41.0pt;"> S.A.C.S.CollegeNaigaonBz.&A.C.S.CollegeShankarnagar only.</p> <p style="margin-left:41.0pt;"> <strong>CourseAdmissionLink:</strong><a href="https://forms.gle/DDiYFrSTYz3eg5YE8"><strong><u>https://forms.gle/DDiYFrSTYz3eg5YE8</u></strong></a></p> <p style="margin-left:23.0pt;"> Each course is of 50 hours of study duration and offer two credits each.</p> <p style="margin-left:41.0pt;"> The courses are conducted in <strong>online mode only</strong>.For the purpose,the enrolled student has to manage his/her personal mobile/pc & internet connectivity.</p> <p style="margin-left: 41pt; text-align: justify;"> ÞThe entire course is managed through the online Learning management system (LMS) free app of <strong>Edmodo. </strong>Students are encouraged to download this free app from the playstore to attend lectures, to download audio-video files and corresponding studymaterial, and to submit assignments/projects. Individual login ids & passwords of Edmodo app will be provided to each student upon the commencement of these courses.</p> <p style="margin-left: 41pt; text-align: justify;"> ÞThe courses are <strong>self-paced</strong>. That means students can complete the 50hours of syllabus at their own convenience – anytime - from the start of the course until the completion of 50 hours and anassignment,but within 90 days.</p> <p style="margin-left: 41pt; text-align: justify;"> ÞFive audio-video lecture files of one hour will be posted in Edmodo on all working days at 08:00 am (Spoken Course) and at 4:00 pm (Writing Course). The enrolled students are advised to learn through each of these lectures at their own convenient time andat their own availability of internet. There will be a review test on Saturdays to ascertain the student’s attendance and his learning progress.</p> <p style="margin-left:41.0pt;"> ÞThere is <strong><u>no fee and no examination</u> </strong>to complete the course, but the <strong>certificates </strong>will be awarded in soft copies only to those students whose class performance is satisfactory, who show gradual improvement in his/her spoken and written abilities of English and who submit assignments/projects on time.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> </div> <p style="margin-left: 5pt; text-align: justify;"> Both these courses will be launched soon, but with limited students’ intake (upto 50 each).All the students of both these colleges are therefore advised to enroll in these courses andget further benefit of improvement in spoken and written English skills.
